As the end of May comes closer, and as my waistline gets no smaller, I have adopted a new mantra (hint, hint, its the post title).
Instead of talking about posting, or talking about losing weight, I’m finally putting my mental foot down and telling myself to just do it. No more excuses.
So one week ago, I started Intermittent Fasting. I’ll tell you more about it / my results / my experience in another post, hopefully in a month’s time, and hopefully with noticeable weight loss.
Also, one week ago, I received my 2nd Mansur Gavriel bag in the mail, and thus begins what I REALLY wanted to talk about today:
This past Christmas 2014, my hubby got me this gorgeous bucket bag from Mansur Gavriel. I never saw myself as  bucket bag type gal, but the clean lines and the simple but elegant structure got me hooked! Mansur Gavriel re-stocked two weeks ago, so I saved up my $$, and got myself this beautiful Rosa tote:
The tote is calf-coated leather, with a beautifully understated pink color. I opted to go for the smaller tote as I don’t carry that much around but still wanted space for my books. The tote is open-top, and comes with a small zipped wallet:
I’ve only been carrying this tote around for a few days, but already I’m getting a lot of compliments 😀 I’m going to be using this bag as my summer bag, so will be doing a follow-up review with this tote, and with the bucket bag.
So yeah, I just did it ( aka weight loss regimen, and blog post), and I will hopefully continue doing it for the rest of 2015.

Beautiful tote! The rosa color is gorgeous. Are you able to comfortably wear it over the shoulder? I actually prefer the smaller tote, but I’m not sure if the straps are long enough for shoulder carry(?) Would love to hear your input. Hope you are enjoying your love lovely MG piece! They are quite addictive 😛
Hello Alicia! Thanks for commenting! Its actually pretty comfortable for me to wear over the shoulder, not too snug at all. I do have to take it off if I need something from my tote though. I will be doing a bag review complete with pictures soon, so stay tuned!
Also, MG is re-stocking on Tuesday July 28! I’m hoping to get their new shoulder bag (fingers crossed!).
Thanks for the info! That was super helpful. I think I will opt for the small tote now. Is Rosa difficult to keep clean? My handbag collection mainly consists of black or brown purses, but I’m so drawn to this beautiful, light pink for some reason.
Hopefully we both get what we want during the relaunch. I know it can get pretty crazy! I have to admit, though, that these MG events have become a guilty pleasure of mine… Hahahaha 😛
Hello! How did you do on the re-stock ? I did pretty well, even wrote a post about 😉 I’ve had the Rosa tote for almost three months now, and it has been easy to maintain. The bottom corners get dirty a bit quickly, but nothing that a gently wipe wont take away. I am quite heavy-handed with all my bags, so I’m pleasantly surprised to see the Rosa tote hold up!
