Throwback Thursday: Pinkie Pie’s Travels, Part I

As most of my dear friends know, I am an avid fan of the cartoon series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic .

One could almost say I’m a Brony. I do prefer the term “Brony” as opposed to “Pegasister” as Brony is so much easier to pronounce, plus sounds about 20% cooler (inside MLP reference).

Like all bronies, I have a preferred main character favorite, Pinkie Pie . I love her fun and crazy character, how she loves planning parties, and her zany perspective on life in Equestria. In fact, I love her so much that I’ve started taking her with me on my travels. I didn’t travel that much last year due to wedding planning and such, but I did travel in 2013. Guess who came with? 😉

Without further ado, here’s my first Throwback Thursday 1st edition with Pinkie Pie travels Part I:

Don’t look now, but that’s Pinkie Pie admiring the view from the first viewing deck of the Eiffel Tower. You can see how far we’re up due to the haziness of the Paris cityscape below:

Here we see Pinkie Pie in front of the Arc de Triomphe :

And here’s Pinkie Pie on top of the Arc de Triomphe (after MANY, many flights of steps), watching the Eiffel Tower light up in the distance:

Finally, here’s Pinkie Pie in front of the Palais Garnier, or the famous Paris Opera House. She wanted to catch an opera inside, as well as admire the many famous works of art inside, such as the ceiling which was painted by Marc Chagall.

Unfortunately, we were unable to subtly sneak a pic of the gorgeous ceiling, but trust me, it was beautiful!
