SchoolMarm, Anyone?

Cold (well cold for us in San Diego at least) weather is back with a vengeance. The past four days have been gloomy, chilly and otherwise non-sunny days here in the otherwise bright paradise of San Diego. Thus, today’s outfit was inspired by my need to stay warm, but still look , well, nice 🙂

With my dark blue velvet blazer on hand, I wore an oxblood ankle-length dress that I got on sale from H&M for $10.00. The whole look instantly reminded me of “schoolmarms” , with my take being a bit more fashionable 😉

I accessorized my outfit with these two over- sized lilac stone and peach quartz rings, pearl bracelets, and these trendy soft coral green sparkly sandals that I found at Ross Dress for Less for only $10.99 😀

Hello! Thank you so much for your visit 😀 I will definitely check you out and follow you on bloglovin!

  1. Hi,
I am a fashion publicist from NYC who has moved to San Diego. I am hosting a fashion and beauty networking event at Wine Steals Point Loma on April 22nd at 6 PM. It is for people who want to break into these industries or who are in it, but want to meet others, to gather and meet. It will feature guest speakers who have become successful in fashion and beauty who will do a question and answer session about how they got started, how they grew, what to do, what not to do etc…

The first session will be hosted by Stephanie Wells of Double Happines Jewelry. (She sells in over 600 stores worldwide and has had her jewelry featured on the covers of W, Harpers Bazaar, In Style, and Cosmopolitan to name a few)

It will also be hosted by Lucy Mills… The owner of Luco Salon in Hillcrest. She successfully built and has run her salon for 14 years in San Diego.

It will be the first of three events. The second will do with the power of press and the third will talk about finances.

I would love to send you the flyer to the event. Perhaps it would be something interesting to post for your readers. There are not many fashion networking groups that I have found, and I would really love to grow the community.
I will promote all bloggers at the event who post about it.

The RSVP to the event is alisa@daisymaepr.com

    Thank you,
    Alisa Rottenberg
