I recently attended the San Diego Fashion and Beauty Networking Party last Tuesday April 22nd. I had gotten an invite from Alisa Rottenberg of Daisy Mae Pr for the event, which was held at Wine Steals in Point Loma. I’m not much of a networker when it comes to my personal style blog as I am still developing / I am by heart a nerdy,shy introvert / I am naturally so busy, dahling.
I did go to the event with an open mind as I was intrigued by who I would meet, plus I wanted to see the featured guest speaker Stephanie Wells of Double Happiness jewelry as I have always admired her work.
So, how was the party you asked? Well, it was mostly about how to market yourself and your product. The talks seem geared toward more of products than fashion in general, and so even if I was a bit non-plussed, I still did get some insider tips on the jewelry industry if I ever did develop my own line. I did meet some very cool new people though 🙂

You know what we all had in common? We all had office jobs which inspired us individually to experiment and blog about our personal style as a creative release!
Over-all, I did enjoy myself, and I do look forward to more parties in the future 🙂 Till then, happy Monday y’all !
