Partly because its my birthday month and I haven’t really been watching what I eat, partly because they just looked super comfortable, and partly because I was a bit nostalgic, I gave in to the harem pants trend and got myself a pair in black for around $14 from H&M. I do admit I have been wearing them like how a regular person would wear jeans: ALL the time!
I even wore them to work today, albeit a bit snazzed up with my default black blazer, a simple blue shirt, this luxe Louis Vuitton cashmere scarf I got as a Christmas gift, and these gorgeous pair of black patent gladiatoresque-inspired heels that I found slumbering in the back of my shoe closet:
Did I already mention how super comfortable these pants are? I like how they drape around my legs and give the illusion that I’m skinnier than I really am 😉 I accessorize with my default pair of Ray-Ban inspired shades and a recent acquisition, my black quilted Chanel wallet.
I leave you with a picture of me sitting down, which I have been doing most of today instead of walking around the office with my usual fervor. Why? because of these fabulous but seriously-hurting-my-feet heels. But hey, beauty over pain, right? *shrugs*
