Nothing beats the hump day blues quite like a new project. An idea, thought about for years and years, quietly germinating until one takes the first step (or in this case, the first “click”!) and voila!
I am a lover of bright colors, of shared smiles and of personal expression. It is very apropos then that I begin this style-expression journey with an orange-printed dress. I love the pattern, the way it makes my skin glow, plus the oh-so-professional look it still conveys.
I especially like the fact that this is a very comfortable dress with a garter waist, very convenient for the curvier parts of me. Completing my office look for today is my favorite pair of black flats. I do a lot of walking around, so I have quite the flats collection. You will see a heel or two or three in the future though, so don’t fret.
I love the cool detailing on the flats , its zipper-edged frills reflecting the frills on my dress.
I chose not to accessorize this particular look as I felt that dress already had so much color and detail, that anything else would be, well too much. Speaking of too much, I do have a job to get back to, so till next time!
